Hej all !

This are probably common sense…but for some one who spends their entire day behind the desk……

But backdrop some time ago my charging stop working and then after sitting for some time nöthe engine won’t even turn (feed with an extra battery) could this be related to a bad ignition switch? For context prior I ”sorted out” some routing after cabling and one was the starter input for the alternator (just rerouted and change the plug) could is have been a cause of this problem?

Check for power at starter larger one should have constant battery power, smaller wire close to block [purple] only has power in start position.

Starting issues with "unknown" positive or negative cable, I jump on those first.

I've also learned, if you don't have the cables/connectors, look for vendors in you area that will make them. Should be considerably cheaper/better than most "chain" stores. Here in SE KY I'd expect $35 -45 for a positive/negative cable made to your length....most likely in a larger gauge than "chain".

Start with the cheapest before you go alternator/battery on an "no background/unknown" system.
