Hello fellow square buddies,
i found this forum while looking at the rockauto.com newsletter.
some of the names on here are familiar from other forums and boards but i think there can never be enough sources for info and nice folks that love their squarebody trucks!
In Germany there are quite a few that were left from the military - the CUCVs are popular for lifting. The K5s are looked for to but i´m addicted to lowered and handling trucks - squares especially!
I have a ´81 C 10 longbed lowered 4/6 with all belltech parts.
I own it since 1993 and it took about 15 years to get it rolling on the streets and it still isn´t finished yet!

The headlights are Hella one size bigger than original. The interior isn´t photo worthy yet and i thought about adding power mirrors but they are hard to come by overhere!

Sweet Truck !!! Looks to be standard size headlights side by side rather than the typical miniquad headlights. Is that an originally sold new in Germany truck?

Very nice! I never have been to the northern part of Germany. The closest I've been was to Dortmund.
Did you have any issues to getting that inspected/passed over there?

I know you from 67-72chevytrucks, it only took one picture to figure it out. That truck is beautiful.

Thanks for that warm welcome.
My truck came from California and was a 5.7l Diesel.
It took me 15 years to get it restomodded and another year to register it, because of the german bureaucracy!
The seats are from a Peugeot 605 sedan and came with the shoulderbelts so fitment was quite easy.
These trucks were never sold in Europe officially.
