Squarebody Bolt List? Odd Question!

I recently acquired a 1985 K20 on Trade. I plan on painting the truck and reassembling the truck. I have all the parts ( I think) but the previous owner didn't do much in the ways for organizing the fasteners. Now I know there are only so many combinations of sizes but if there were some comprehensive list of the different bolts for things like door handles, locks, dash, seats, trim, and everything else it would be a major help. I'm not sure if something even like that exists but if it did it would be a great help.

Figured it's a shot in the dark but any help is appreciated! Even some list of exploded views for door handles, dash, all that sorta fun stuff.

Might order a LMC catalog, I think they show the hardware in the parts breakdowns, that might help.

Thanks! Unfortunately, LMC does have some great exploded diagrams but they do not have any descriptions of the bolt sizing.

Search "ClipsandFasteners." They don't list which fasteners go with each set as a package but they do list many OE fasteners and some will say what they are for. I'm in the same boat wishing I could find a comprehensive list but so far no luck finding any and have been searching for a long time.

here's what I do in that situation. lay out all of your bolts, nuts, screws on a table where they will not be disturbed. sort them all according to diameter, length. in other words put all the same ones together. then start assembling using the process of elimination, say you need seven 5/16 body bolts, they should be right there. most of the time this works well, sometimes you will hit a snag, when this happens I skip over that snag and I will come back to it after I have eliminated some more choices. highdesertranger
