That sucks! It was okay when I packed it....guess the bouncing around the mail trucks from Houston to your place, did that. You can get the globe open, one of my buddies from the car club did. I found two of the Coke ornaments that had a red and white RCSB square in them, and he bought one. I sold the other one, several swap meets ago.....
M2 must've not had their usual QC on this batch of items; it's like they weren't glued and bolted together properly.

I'll be seeing him tomorrow, and all day Saturday at our club's model car and truck show in Seabrook. I'll have him bring the globe to me so I can look at it. You might be able to use it?

Here's a couple of things my friend is selling (he gets the money but I'm selling them for him, since I go to shows he doesn't).
The black Bywayman in the bag is a Shell gas station promo Hot Wheels. Mint in original bag, pretty hard to find, and graphics exclusive to this version, $20
The Hot Wheels crayons are something I've never seen before! Four crayon ized cars, a Corvette, Camaro, Shelby Cobra and the Bywayman K10 Chevy truck. These are from the mid 80s and gotta be pretty rare, still on the package! $40 for this piece of Hot Wheels history....
Only one of each is available, first come first serve.

Haven't seen that one yet... will be on the look out. By the way that is the fourth color for that vehicle.

Yup I have the other three. Light blue and white is the first one, from last year, then the red and white one. The light green one was a few cases ago (E case I think) and this one is from J case.
15 cases released each year; some cars are only in one case assortment, but many are in 2 or 3 cases. Some cases have more than one assortment, the zamac (bare metal, Walmart exclusive) VW Kool Kombi Mooneyes is in one assortment but not the other, for E case. This is why that particular one is $20-25 on eBay. Most zamac cars never get that high. They've never had the '83 Silverado in zamac, but I've heard the Tooned one might be coming out later this year.
I have all 3 except that one lol
I just have one right now, hopefully I can find more by Saturday for the local show. Other vendors will probably have it but since it's new, it'll be pricey.

@HotWheelsBurban

If you see an early (73-74) GMC tomorrow, I'm interested. Thanks.
Didn't see any on Saturday, but I will look this weekend at the diecast show. Last weekend was a plastic models show/contest so that's what the rest of the vendors had. What's the most you want to pay(I'll try to get it as cheap as possible, but it's good to have a "high bid" guideline).
