1987 Silverado 1/2ton original 2wd automatic converted to 4wd manual.
(Th350 I believe, to SM465 4speed)

Hello all! I’ve got a question regarding my speedometer. I swapped the transmission about 10 years ago but just recently decided to try and get my truck road ready again.

The speedo cable was to short after the swap to connect. I bought an extension and have it connected. I believe the speedometer is inaccurate now after the swap. What’s the fix for this?
New gauge? Gear conversion box? If gear conversion box which model would I need?

Thanks in advance for any help. Hopefully one of you have ran into, and solved this issue.

I’m not sure what transfer case I have exactly. Based on reading threads maybe an NP208. If I remember correctly the truck I took everything off of was a 75 Cheyanne 3/4ton 4wd
