Do you know if the hangers changed from the 73-80 to 81 up models? I saw one at the Junkyard the other day.

I don't think so. LMC's catalog shows the the same part for 75-87. I've never had a 73-74, so I don't know what would be different.

Let me know if you need that curved cross member piece for the spare tire mount. I have mine removed and it needs a new home. My truck is too low to even attempt a spare tire hanger under the bed.


If you want/need...we can work out a price with shipping.....? The hanger is off of my 1/2 ton 1984 frame.

Cool. I'll let you know. I have to see if there is already one on my truck. That would be a whole lot easier than trying to cut one out at the pick a part.

Not too close. If you were nearby I might pick one up in case I decide to go that with the undermounted spare. I am not sure which way I want to go with my fuel tanks, thinking about a Blazer tank which would not allow a spare underneath.
