Spent the weekend getting the frame cleaned up and the new mounts fabricated, have the basic center section and tail lights on it now.

Did you have to do anything special with the wiring? Did 02's have lamp out indicators on the dash?

Turns out that this generation of truck can't run everything through one light. So I can have brake/tail lights, OR I can have turn signals, but not both. I spend a long day in the snow bank to figure that out, and really, a guy on Expo Portal told me lol.

So I have 2" turn signal to install this weekend in order to move the project along. Unfortunately I placed, picked, and designed the bumper around the 4" lights I have thinking they could do all three functions, so hopefully it doesn't wind up looking stupid.

Worst come to worst, I have a full 4 x 8 sheet of that 3/16, I can always redo the center section.

There's a little converter box you can use to run just one light.

I'm not sure what's going on with my turn signals, I have a flaky ground or something. Brake lights and tail lights work fine. Blinkers work fine until the head lights come on. It's like 60 mph and 25 degrees outside right now, a literal blizzard, people fail to signal all the time, so I'll live with it for the time being until I can spend some time with a multimeter and figure it out.

I was somewhat curious if the loose canvas would be a detriment in being able to heat it, so i picked the worst day of the year to figure it out lol. Used my Mr Heater 18000 BTU from my garage, had to turn it down to medium, it was blasting me out. I think a diesel heater will work well in here for cold nights, I don't intend to actually winter camp with it.

Aren't neighbors great? If they would only mind their own business!

It's been about three years, but we had another issue over my C10, that went to the day of trial before being thrown out.

Not since the first time. He calls all the time and they just don't bother me at all. The first time I was a dick to the cop, but since then he's called on everyone else in the neighborhood and they just don't really bother with him much anymore.

Friday I was sitting at my desk and all the lights went out at 10 am lol, guess they called it a day early, so I took the opportunity to get out on the trail and enjoy the weather a bit. The lack of front travel is pretty uncomfortable, but otherwise Clifford did well way offroad.
