maaaaan... my dad like to almost strangle me, one night I brought that thing home knocking something fierce... turns out my leadfoot self was racing too much and spun a rod.

we had to rebuild the whole bottom end... with just 80k on it too... then like a week after I got the car back... checked the water, and didn't put the cap back on right.. (forgot to flip that do-hickey down)...lost all my water and cooked a head gasket... I was on my own with that one!!! LOL got it re-milled and back on the road though...

Aside from 64-72 chevelles and GTO`s

I`ve always loved the 71-73 boat tail buick rivieras. My mother had a 71 with a 455-4v TH400 and a 12 bolt. It was an open rear with really high gears but it was still pretty quick. You never see many of them anymore and if i ever found a nice one i`d buy it.

And i had a 74 grand am in the late 80`s. I loved that car even though it was a dog with the low horse 400 4v it was a great cruiser and i loved the t tops. I wouldn`t mind owning another one.

Those were added later, Pontiac a-bodies didn't get t-tops until 1976.

Just about any year Camaro (74-77 not so much). Big soft spot for 98-02 SS I miss mine, but when I get my next Camaro it will be a 70-73

The love of my life has to be the MKIII Toyota Supra. It has to be a turbo 5 speed with a targa top. I have owned 2 87's already and one day will own another.

Dodge colt. I am a fanatic of these cars, I own 4. After my GMC is done I am planning on doing the colt next. I drove this to high school back in the day and its always been a project of mine. It will get the proper treatment soon.

I guess I don't really have one, anymore. At least if I am understanding the meaning behind "soft spot cars". I used to be a fanatic of the GM Muscle Cars, but, once I realized they handle like **** I lost interest. They look nice going down the road, but, they sure don't like to corner.

Well, on second thought, I would really like to pick up another RCLB 2005 Silverado WT in Spiral Gray, just like my first truck. In fact, the GMT800 pickup would be my preferred platform for project vehicles.

Im pretty lucky to own most of my soft spot vehicles. The truck is the obvious, then theres the 75 corvette, the 2000 firebird, and a 86 RX7. Id love to add to the fleet with an older mercedes or one of the mid 60s gm 4 doors.

Hey Hirschdale,I sold my 70 Charger 500 plum crazy about 10 years ago.Man I miss that car. But kept my 67 Malibu 4dr wagon.My buddies thought I was crazy and maybe I am.
