Wow, I have a sliding rear window that looks just like the one in this picture. I always wondered is it was factory, but never knew. You must be registered for see images attach
Identical to mine right down to the markings on the glass.Posting this for future reference. I believe this to be a factory slider back window and original rubber seal. Truck has never been apart or painted from what I can tell.
1983 C10/Silverado.
I was lucky, mine rattled like crazy when closed and the solution was tweaking the clasp a little to keep it closed tighter. Also it would leak a little water from the slider, not the gasket. The solution to that was a deep cleaning. I think if I remember right the track has a couple little drains and they were clogged. My felt was intact but not very felt like, and I just went over it with automobile interior cleaner and tooth brush until the felt "perked up".I also have the RPO code A28 and have the aluminum slider like TLambert posted. My felt runners are trashed and the window is missing the center aluminum uprights. I am in the process of restoring it if possible. I was able to remove it with the rubber surround seal intact. I also have purchased one of the Passport windows from the guy on eBay. It is not the same size but I believe the normal rear window gasket will work. Trying to keep all my options open for this restoration.
