The newest edition to the collection, and my new daily, a 1998 Cheyenne K2500 WT.
3/4, 4x4, 350, 5 speed manual, everything works. I love it.

Except for the floor stick, that looks very familiar. We put almost 300 miles on Rawhide this weekend, "going up the country" to Mom's high school reunion, and checking out all the old trucks in rural central Texas. Every little town has a few OBS's and many have a square or two as well. Missed a bunch but I have been posting the ones I did catch.

I’m sorry to hear that. My condolences in advance….
thanks. he went into hospice the other day, doc says maybe a week or two. was pretty tough for me and wife to home care for him and still go to work last couple weeks.
he looks pretty bad...made a good run though- 87 yrs old.
i also inherited about 25 g's of tools from him, plus a john deere mower with a snowplow, vacumn, and a trailer. he wanted to give me and wifey his class c motorhome as well, but i have no room for a 34 ft unit, so were giving it to my nephew.
i would much rather have him around than the truck and tools, but nature catches up to all of us eventually

put 4 new blaupunkt speakers and a new pioneer stereo in it, got my frikkin hand squished when the door swung in on it. turns out the detent spring fell out cause the pin was bent.

finally got around to fixing the saggy headliner as well. perforated white vinyl that looked like toilet, which was weird considering the interior is all grey. picked up this grey material for 25 bucks.

also grabbed a set of oem fender flares off a sub that were silver, painted them with bed liner

only thing left is crank the bars an inch or two so i can throw a set of 285 M/T's on it, then call it done

See that red Crew Cab OBS in Pasco on FB for $5,800? Nice looking rig, smaller motor though.

Cleaned up the wife’s DD to sell it. 70k miles but looks brand new. Again, anal retentive. The roof glass on this is pretty trick, goes from full headliner, to clear(tinted) glass, to frosted at the push of a button. The last three pictures show the sequence.

Ok now that's pretty freakin rad
Yeah, it’s a pretty neat feature. Overall, it’s a much better execution of a glass roof than our Tesla. May not be quite as big, but still lets light in when you want it and does a better job of keeping the heat out in the summer.

The new scam on Craigslist is people asking you to give them a vin report from some untrusted janky website like vin trust or car facts. It’s definitely a way for them to phish your cc info. I’ve purchased a carfax to share with legit buyers, but these guys insist you log into some other website, because that website gives a much more thorough report.

I just text back, “Get a real job you f’n dirtbag scammer”

Interestingly enough, some keep conversing after that. Possibly bots too.

Yeah our sales manager had that happen last year when he was selling his Duramax. Happened from 3 different numbers and they got super pushy with him apparently

Well that was quick. Sold today.

She’ll be driving my daily and I’m going to look at a 2002 Camry with close to 100k tomorrow. Looks very clean.

Good news is she’s retiring at the ripe old age of 34 in a couple months and I only have to commute 2 days a week now. Our miles driven for work will be pretty low.

My Daily since summer of last year. I prefer driving the k20 than my MINT 2013 335i turbo BMW.
