Looks like you tore apart a good truck. I won't go with the chop shop comment though. LMAO, sure glad I didn't show all my junk if that's what said about your little bit of 1 truck tore apart. Imagine what parts to 9 trucks must look like. Along with acquiring other brand engines and transmisisons like Buick V6, Olds 455 and Pontiac 400's.:hidesbehindsofa:

I'd love to have a seperate shop like that..............:) I just have an oversized one car garage, and with both vehicles in there I have very little room to do anything..................

It took a hell of a lot of organizing to make the room in there available. Getting the motorcycle and extra engine stands out was a huge help. I need to pick up some engine cradles for my 305 and 350.

As for the truck, it always looked solid until you got up close. All that **** under the rear of the truck is rust that got knocked off the frame!

That's a nice shop you've got Jaymez, wouldn't mind having that myself actually.Did you coat the frame or something? What is that on the brace at the back of the frame?

The brace at the back of the frame is the trailer hitch. I see no reason to remove it.

Part of the frame has been coated in a rust inhibitor/metal conditioner. It turns the good steel purple and the rusted steel turns purple. Once I get the whole thing coated, I'll turn around and have to paint the whole thing in chassis black. That is, of course, if the quote I get for sandblasting the frame is too high.

I actually meant the brace before that with the holes in it. Near where the spare tire mounts, it looks kinda' bubbly.

Obviously they get down with the program there. I'd sure like to have that lathe. The transmissions I could build and modify with that..... Big $$$$$ !!!

Every time I look at the pictures I just get pissed off jealous. I wish I was a family friend or employee of them, or at least got paid to drive their commercial truck around. did anyone else get a boner over the stainless workbenches with the swirls and the machine shop?
