i used two wheel drive front spring hanger brackets on the back ant they worked great its a cheap way to go.(front of the rear spring)

blazer front hangers are the same as two wheel drive also. i think the earlier blazers had the taller ones that are not the same as two wheel drive ones. but can not rememer what year they changed.

the shackle flip does move the axle forward so you will need the easy inch blocks or something similar to move the axle back

Jftr, i have no issues with trailering. No lateral movement issues. Still flex well, with 6" usdr shackles too. A 16' trailer with four quads gives no trouble at all except for the 6.2 being a little slow to get going. Really look closely to how your suspension works then build it how you want it. It's worth the trouble.

anyone know if you can use the factory shackle hangers and just flip them upside down and side to side. Yes I'm a cheap ass and don't wanna spend the $$$, planning on a 4" drop box for the front! can you say hill billy?

That looks like the ORD hanger could you also use the DIY4X shackle with this set up to beef up all the suspension?

Yes, the Diy4x shackles fit an ORD flip bracket. Here's a pic of mine; 2.5" ORD flip w/ 6" Diy4x shackle.

How much lift does your rig have?

I looking to lift mine 6 inches and tuck 37x12.50r16.5 Goodyear MTR military tires. Mine is a street queen too.

its lifted 8 inches in the rear and 7 in the front
a shackle flip plus 3/4 ton leafs=8inches I guess
I have six inch leafs in the front and my 37 good years rub at full crank so I put a zero rate block still touches once in a great while but I had no issues on the street with six inch springs and 37" tires...............o except for them being the biggest PITA to balance but that's a hole different story

I was looking at doing the shackle flip in the back, 52 inch springs in the front, zero rate block on both axles and a 1 inch body lift for extra insurance. All that together should get me 6 inches of lift. Any thoughts?
