I have installed bucket seats into my ‘86 Suburban I had someone else do it for me. They sit a little high, just as well I’m only 5’6”. With the rooof lining sag it feels a touch claustrophobic. So next will be the roof lining, in hindsight should have done beforehand.
I love the power seats and the colours.

For now get some upholstery pins,Walmart probably has them or a fabric/hobby store. Anyway they are like a thumbtack but instead of a straight pin they have a corkscrew pin, push them in and turn them, screw the fabric to the cardboard backing for now.

Thanks for the tip, I had thought of doing something like that, was worried about putting holes in the backing. Possibly reuse it.

Thanks.
I have a more serious issue at the moment. Went to pickup from friends, where it has been parked for 12mths, only to find out he doesn’t know where the keys are and never started it up as promised. So, won’t be taking it to emissions testing, will be replacing ignition barrel. And charge the brand new batteries while I curse my friend. I only have 10 days here before I head back home again. I’ve decided to sell as it can’t sit around any longer. Someone’s gain my loss. So spread the word pls. It’s on FB marketplace Longmont, CO
