I have a 90 suburban and was curious if there is a way for the driver seat to sit back a little further. It's adjusted all the way but I need a little more room. What's the best solution, a new type or year of seat? Or can I pull out the seat and modify the manual track some how? Or is there no solutions? Any help would be great thank you.

You would need to modify the track, where the rails bolt to the seat. Should be fairly simple if you can weld.

Do you have a tilt colum? The standard column puts the wheel closer to the driver for some reason.

So you’re over 6’6”?

Pretty easy to modify the track or where it bolts to the seat

Might be able to just drill new holes in the track further back

Probabaly easier than moving the holes in the floor

But do it strong
You don’t want it breaking in a crash
