Don't worry that is coming off.The brush guard looks like it's off a ford. Definitely not correct. I wouldn't trust it for any kind of hit of any sort.
Just starting slow. I have pulled off the front and back door floor moldings and will try to clean them up and see how that works.I wish a could find a K-Burb like that in my area. Decently solid, rough enough to lower the price but plenty good enough to work with and not so nice that I have to worry about using it for work or camping.
That is exactly the plan. Starting with the exhaust thing needs a muffler. My neighbors are going to storm the house.Looks like a good foundation to start with. I would love to find a round eye 4x4 burb with a 4 speed someday. Very cool! Get all the mechanical stuff straightened out so it is reliable to drive. Then you can enjoy driving it as you work on the cosmetic stuff.
