Hello everyone, a few weeks back I purchased a Mark IV 454 from an 1989 C30. I'm in the process of putting it into my truck (1987 V10) with a newly swapped in SM465 and NP208.
So my questions to you guys are how did you get your big blocks in?
Iv'e read to use the mounts that came on it, and others say to use my small block mounts.
Do you put the bellhousing on the engine first or just leave it on the tranny?
Iv'e tried both and I'm having a hell of a time making any progress at all.
Also my fuel pump which appears to have some sort of canister at the bottom seems to hang to low to the engine crossmember.
HELP?
