Reverse light issue

My 87 K10 has aftermarket brake lights and a set of really old reverse light/license plate lights and I took the bed off yesterday to discover that the reverse lights aren't even hooked up. There's just plugs for it, and I looked around a bit and couldn't find the other end to plug into it. I have no idea how to hook them up and im obviously gonna need them for inspection. Should I somehow make a wire for them? How would I do that? Or should I buy aftermarket reverse lights/find stock reverse lights

Look along the inside of the LH frame rail and you will find a hard plastic tube that runs like this:

Obviously, yours wont be wire tied to the top of the cross member, but it will terminate with a 4 pin socket like this:

It (the socket half of the plug) should be somewhere behind the bumper:

One of the female pin connectors will be connected to a LT GRN wire. That is the power supply for the B/U lights. Without knowing more about the situation, that's about all the help I can offer.

Another related question, I'm swapping out a cab and I need to transfer out the fusebox and all the wiring to the new cab, and I know theres a big box with all the wires coming out from the fusebox (I think?). So is that like a plug that I can unplug that whole wiring harness, or would I have to remove the fusebox/wiring box as a whole? I'm still a beginner at this.

You should be able to remove a screw from the engine bay side of the fusebox and that will allow you to unplug the wiring harnesses.
there should be one for the front lights, another for engine controls and one for the rear lights/fuel tank.

Now would be a good time to put a new fuse box in, and get rid of the old glass type fuses,which I assume it has, and use the newer style ATO fuses. Look at place like Painless Wiring, Ron Francis, Hot Rod Wires, etc. Or, you could build your own fuse box with components bought off the internet.
