Hi, I've been away for a while but I am becoming active again. I have a 78 K5 with a 383 stroker, 4L60 and 4:56 gears 35" tires. I've been working to get it dialed in and have posted a question in the carb section. I'm sure there will be more.

I forgot to mention that I live in Medellin, Colombia. Finding expertise here is "hit or miss".

Welcome. Red marker/turn signals? Anything goes in Columbia eh?

That side mirror is a new one for me as well. Guessing the vent window does not open.

I would venture it’s a side marker only and Columbia requires side markers to be red. I doubt it blinks. If it does, maybe any turn signal other than forward must be red

The vent windows open fine. That's just a camera angle. The mirrors were a generic purchase here. As far as the side markers, those are OE and they don't blink.

I'm a little surprised that nobody commented on the absence of a heater/AC system. Medellin is known as the land of eternal spring. The temperature varies about +/- 10 deg all year long, so I didn't see the need to clutter up the engine bay and add more things to be maintained. The only thing that happens is the occasional windshield when it rains, but, I can live with that.

The missing hvac doesn't faze me. I see people using and selling stuff without working or existing hvac systems all the time.

The mirrors are more of an oddity to me.

Interesting on the marker lights. Are all marker lights front and rear red in Columbia?
