Hey Guys,
Who sells rear chrome step bumpers? My rear silver painted bumper is looking a little tweaked so it's time to replace but I'd like to upgrade to a chrome one. Checked my LMC catalog but they only show the plain bumper, not the step.
Appreciate any help.
Greg

I went on there and found them, but they weren’t in the catalog for some reason. Try plugging in PN 38-9731 into the cart and seeing if it’ll let you order it. That’s the base model bumper. They’ve got about four different ones that incorporate step pads and/or integrated lights, but that one’s just the regular, diamond plate stepper.

That's odd. They used to be in the catalog.

For a long time, FEY was a common manufacturer of them.

But that's what I'm looking for. Thanks for the part number too.

Holy ****. Just checked LMC, that bumper is $350 on my door step.
I think that's a little steep. I'll have to keep looking....

How do these aftermarket bumpers work? I don't see any bumper bolts on the exterior of the bumper, so you must have to buy their bumper brackets to?

They all have internal mounting plates. You get the brackets to mount it up, but they are basically just flat bar with holes drilled in the right places. I don't know about now, but it used to be that the bracket kit was cheap and it came with instructions on how to install the bumper to the different model trucks. But that's when most trucks were still built similar with nearly identical frame rail spacing.

Thanks Dain, but that's a clean bumper for a stepside truck. I'm after a step bumper like the ones craig 85 posted.
