I -think- I've been down this question before.....but my mind is soup and I'm now in the middle of doing my rear drums and am stumped.

I saved everything original from both sides. The AC Dilbert spring set didn't cover everything, so I might have to get the "parking brake" kits also. Not sure if the new stuff is as good as the original hardware - I have a way to strip and replate all the original levers and such if that would be better.

Here's what I have (can see the new springs and pins nest to the old ones). Ignore the labels....I was checking what I had or didn't have, although "A" and "E" aren't in any of the kits.

Rock has the kits to finish this. Are the kits any good or should I just refurb the originals? THX

Why wouldn't you just clean up and re-use what you don't have?

In my experience on f150 the aftermarket springs are fine, yeah,, original springs are just gonna be less good by now, but some of those small levers, pieces…if it didn’t wear, may be better… the self adjuster lever on the Ford originally is nice steel stamping size of two thumbs or so, but the replacement is weak.. the damn spring that holds it squared to the adjuster(another story)… literally bends it..

The Raybestos kit I bought doesn't come with the red spring that goes under the tab on the self adjuster arm. Now I need to go to ACE hardware and find one for each side. My right one broke.
