Anyone ever do a step by step with the Impala setup?

It's not that hard to find the six lug pattern with slip on rotors the problem has been trying to find rotors that would work with the five lug setup. And about the parking brake, if you want a Parking brake setup then go to speedway motors and they offer a rear disc parking brake setup that is still not horribly priced. But as for me I don't give a **** about a parking brake.

The problem has been finding a setup that incudes the ebrake. There are a number of solutions that could be bolted on but many states will check for E-brakes and that is where the issue comes to bear.

You used the K10 front calipers and mounts, drilled to fit the rear housing flange, and used '88-'98 4x4 front rotors. Right?

Anyone using that setup should be able to use the Eldorado rear calipers. The parking brake will be iffy at best, but no worse than a brand new '78 Eldorado, lol.

I used K10 brackets redrilled and machined to fit the flange and welleded a stop on. I used 96ish blazer rotors with the centers machines to fit the axle and machined .100 off each side and K10 calipers.That was for 6 lug. He is 5 luv so he can use the 5x5 Astro rear set up @78C10BigTen

Most of the the time they are not setup correctly. It's a bit of a process and must be done to the book from what I understand. I don't have personal experience... but I do have a set of these in my project parts collection.
And if you have 'em use 'em... this will keep them in order but you would still need the extra maintenance of keeping them clean from off roading. Fortunately they are easy to get at.
I still want line locks and a brake at my TC... These don't count in BC I would still need the rear park brakes.
