Were racerbacks even an option as far as aftermarket parts for these trucks? Its been really hard finding sun visors but i really just want a racerback without having to spend an assload on a custom fiberglass mold and one off piece. I know its cheesy but i love the racerback look on trucks. And if i cant find a racer back, then even a sun visor would be good enough.

Thanks for any help or tips!

Pretty sure they made them, it's been so long since I saw any that I can't exactly remember.

Yeah they were made for these trucks. I remember seeing one on a local truck. I think it was made by Lund as well.

Yea, Lund made them. A buddy of mine had a moon viser (or whatever they called the one with the lights in it) and a racerback on his '86 K10 in high school.

lund went ou tof buisness and some stuff got bought by keystone restyling.

As far as I know the ONLY option is to find one used.

I've seen the bed mounted ones, for a fullsize for sale on my local CL.

one was called a razorback and one was racerback I think, one bolted to the bed the other to the cab. which do you want cab mount or bed?

I'm going to try and buy a cab mounted one for my s10.

as for the front window visors summit is remaking them, brand new. Also tons of guys yank them off and throw them away so finding one should be cheap and easy. I found mine for my 88 fullsize and paid $50 for it total shipped from nj to wv.

I've found several for my s10 from 30-100 or more not coutning shipping.

I'm currently working on a trade for one for my s10.

I didn't even know what a racer back was until I saw this thread and did some research. As is often the case, once you become aware of something - you see it everywhere. Well I didn't see them everywhere, but I did see this one posted on NH C/L:

LUND RAZORBACK CHEVY TRUCKS UP TO 99 - $70 (New Durham )
condition: excellent

This is the razor back made by lund for older chevy trucks years 1999 and down. It fits all chevy cab configurations and bed lengths. Good condition ready to install. I dont think there made anymore and they are rare. Must go.

I don't know how much they weigh so shipping costs might be prohibitive from NH to WA. But you asked for any help or tips.
