I was at the museum back in 2013. I believe it was Feb. the following year when the sinkhole opened up in there. What a mess, they did some great work to bring it all back.The Corvette museum in Bowling Green, KY is a cool attraction, the wife and I’ve been to, we did the factory tour also.
They raffle cars each month to fund it all.

I miss my dad’s 68. I don’t miss the burns on the calf from forgetting the sidepipes were hot.68 and 69 don't have the little fender flares at the back of each wheel well. Much more pure design. Had the shark gills too instead of the eggcrate fender vents.
There will be a 69 in my stable before long. L46 manual with a/c in Fathom Green. The search will begin in earnest soon.
