I'm curious about this. this is how the PO of my truck mounted more modern seats as well. is there a reason to mount them with a bar that spans from one side to the other rather than mounting the seats individually?

I plan to do the same thing, so I can use the original mounting holes, just in case I decide to go back to a bench seat. I'll build a console in between the seats to mount my snow plow controls.

Yea Cochecton is right there. Technically its Narrowsburg since Cochecton doesnt have its own post office. Nice country up there. Me and the Mrs used to go to Skinners Falls regularly.
