Thanks for rubbin that in ,old boy.
I was runnin E/T street focking 20 years ago and 12.5 was pretty gawddang fast back then for a car I could drive to school if I wanted to!

That car has never run that fast though... however it WILL run 12.78@96 ALL DAY long. How mush money you got in your pocket? I'm not bragging it was mostly talkin **** though!:buttkick:

Lol ahhh the good old days! :love62:
I had a lot of fun but wouldn't go back for nothin.

Needs more gear I reckon. I have to shift into third about 150 feet off the top. :( it kills my quarter..I debate a few other things.. and keep the car around cuz I intend to play with it some more, later.:licklips:

*12.5 @ 100 remains the goal

Hey, I said "sadly" lol. I've never even run mine at the track. Just up against some lightly modified LS 4th gens back when those cars were new. They were hot **** in my area. I surprised a lot of people back then because my IROC just looked like your average RS with IROC wheels and a hillbilly hood scoop. It felt even quicker after I ditched the auto trans.

But these days, I could easily get smoked by a Nissan or VW.

Wait. You has a hillbilly hood scoop?!
For reals?

Pix?

After I started getting outrun I had to figure another way to win because the dope sellin money from highschool was gone - so I started bracket racing. :shrug:

I kind if hate to change the car very much because it is so extremely predictable but the current combo has been maxxed out for a long time and i'm an N/A kind of guy.

Yet 12.5 is still a ways off..:(

@CSFJ

It was just an old fiberglass cowl hood that I bought cheap with a big crack in it. I fixed the crack and primed it gray. It stuck out like a sore thumb on a black car with rowdy exhaust. Attracted all sorts of attention.

But I've had a stock IROC hood on it for the last decade or more.

Well, thanks to @Rusty Nail I discovered my old Photobucket account. So much stuff I have forgotten about. And saw how damn nice my rusty ass Burb used to be.

It was one of those old American Sports Car Design cowl hoods that had a very wedge shaped scoop.
