aint no law in bc like that, and just so you know mr smarty pants, the bulbs that came with his headlights are H13-9008, DOT all the way.
maybe ask or do your homework before throwing out bs "dangerous" crap.
have yourself a marvelous day...
come stand in front of my kids car.
they are not "blinding" like you say. unlike most people, we know how to properly aim headlights
you've never even seen his car so all your throwing out is ASSUMPTIONS, and $h!tty ones at that.
you seem to be the one with the crappy attitude, "I KNOW ALL EVEN WHEN I"VE NEVER SEEN IT." seems to me you want to be everyones problem.
and by the way, we have no fault insurance, so you really have no idea about where i live or how bright my kids headlights are.
and upgrading his lights is a safety feature, you have obviously never driven a firebird, 4x6 sealed beams blow. at least now he can see the road. a pair of 2 d cell flashlights taped to the hood would throw more light than his stockers.
just so you don't get in a conniption, i refer you back to post #8.
look at pics #2, #3, and #4.
anything is twice as bright as what he had, so get off your high horse with this "blinding" crap
you've got issues
You got the headlights for the 81-87 4-headlight system instead.I was looking to upgrade my headlights to LEDs and ordered a set off of Amazon.
Once they arrived it became immediately clear that they won't even come close to fitting in the factory buckets.
What are my options for an LED upgrade?
I have seen the LMC and Hella h4 options, but these aren't what I'm looking for.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Thanks for that link to the genssi units. I reckon they could be made to look alright on the 89-91 burbs. I might try and give them a go on mine as I do need to replace a couple of my lights anywayOh, this might be what I've been looking for - thanks! I've got these oddball-sized headlights on my '90 Blazer, and have only been able to find one source so far, which is these: https://genssi.com/h4701-h4703-sealed-beam-led-replacement-headlights-2-pack/
However, I like the looks of these better, since they appear OE, and not with all that sci-fi digi-tronics looking stuff in there.
jesus christ...This is the link from the post rumbledawg put up,go down to specs. What bulbs does it say it comes with?l'm not trying to be mr smarty pants, but my research is dependent upon the information given too me. I'm putting another pic up that shows 9003s are not legal as headlights. I don't care if you have rainbow headlights on a big pink truck.
oh no, whatever will i do now.....
I've got issues??? Lol oooookay there buddy. Guess who just joined my ignore list
Follow your own posts follow your amazon link, that's where we got our information, follow your own link. You attacked us. You gave us wrong information. i'm out, to many whiners that think they know everything, but sadly in reality, they know f***all
thanks to the no-minds that turned a headlight thread into a pissing match-unfrikkinbelivable
Jeep buckets, you say? HmmmmYeahhhhhh.....
I have no posts on this thread yet.
I have a round eye truck and thanks to Jeeps, I have tons of options.
Currently using Jeep takeoff housings and some Sylvania lights.
LED's will be next.
Yes sir.Jeep buckets, you say? Hmmmm
Back in high school, I made a pair of smoked plexiglass headlight covers for my dad's '79, they matched his smoked bug shield! They fit right into that recess & used the bezel screws to hold them on. It was a bad-azz looking square!Yes sir.
These were found at the local thrift store in the Hella boxes that I would believe to have replaced them.
For $8 each housing and bulb, they are a great upgrade.
I also had to source a conversion for the wiring, which is readily made and findable on the interwebs.
Those weren't terribly expensive either.
Junior put them in when he had a headlight out and they are much better than the sealed beams they replaced. You must be registered for see images attachYou must be registered for see images attach
