got a low mile 5.3 under 40,000 miles for 600 bucks.

now to decide what truck to put it in these are the choices
barn door blazer

63 c10 short bed

the barn door blazer just got a freshened up vortec 350 being swapped to tbi and a fresh 700r4. really they all already have good 350s.

if I put it in any of the trucks I have a 4l80 to go with it but if it goes in the Camaro I have a super t10 4 speed for that.

kinda thinking the 71 or the 63

Can't go wrong with any of them really. I want to pick up a 5.3 for the same purpose

I need to find a set of headers that fit a c10 that are not 500 to 1000 bucks
has anyone found any reasonably priced headers that work

I found the motor mount plates and found a stand alone harness with the computer and custom tune

then I need to figure out the fuel system
