I don’t even know where to start....basically I don’t own **** that I don’t like...
Can I do 4 in each decade? Lol
How about 4 before 25 years old and 4 since then? We’ll go with that....

4 kids cars
70 Impala 2 door 400sb. Big and fast. And my first resto.
53 5 window Chevy. Never finished it. Was dad and my project. Sold it for first house.
90 Z71 long box 350/5speed. First fuel injected vehicle. Sooo nice! Sold it with about 230k mi on it. College truck, paid cash for it and ran my carpentry business with it.
86 Monte Carlo SS
80 Blazer. Rusty pos but made me a lot of money snow plowing!
Crap that’s 5 and I left out the 95 Ram. Best looking truck style since a round eye square body!
Favorite? Have to go Impala. High school car. Pseudo Pro Tour job. Lowered, stiff springs, big brakes.....big back seat, lol. Drove the piss out of that car for years. Never let me down and outran more cops than the others! And no other car that you could literally toss 6 hockey bags in the trunk without arranging them and fit 6 people inside...
Only downside was it was the only car like it in the Chicago suburbs. Couldn’t sneak around anywhere...

Post 25 years old?
LB7 Duramax crew cab. Fast pickup! First “good” diesel.
5.9 Cummins Mega cab 6speed....black. Still have it. F kin beast!
2016 SRT8 Charger. GoMango. Wife’s summer car. 170mph feels like a Sunday drive! Haven’t had it faster yet. Keep running out of road...
86 K20 that we just got for our younger son. Have 2 years to restore it before he turns 16. Hope the future memories are as good as the past ones!
Honorable mentions, 06 SRT8 Charger and 01 Ram 1500 Off Road. Last truck made with manual 4x shifter AND NO ABS.
That’s 6, almost 4, right?
Can’t pick a fave as they all have their place...

I can't do this. Every time I think I got it , "what about that one" comes up. I can't even pick 6 "best" ones. 66 Nova ,70 LS6, 63 splitwindow, 75K20, 68 Nova, Nomad, 17 Colorado, 15 Tahoe , 56 half ton. Aw Jeez!!!!

If I could claim a 70 LS6 my list would have been way shorter and easier to type out.
If you gave me one muscle car, any car I wanted, I’d piss on Hemi Cudas, GTXs, Copo Camaros, and even 72 Blazers for a LS6 Chevelle!

I am very lucky that I still have it. I bought it new in May of 70, traded it in August of 72(for a 14x64 trailer to live in)when my Bride and I were married. Got it back in 76, when my Bride and I were expecting our 2nd, and drove it for a family car for 15 plus years. Not the original engine(I have it),but everything else is except the paint. We have a grandson who has said he wants NOTHING from us except the Chevelle!! I have told him I'm not quite done with it yet!!! Must say it did NOT have the bb in it while our family was growing, it was small blocked with a fairly strong 327. Thanks for letting me dredge up the good old days, Todd!!

Yeah, I'm going to need pictures of this '70 Impala. I've got a '69 and a '70 myself. The '69 was my first car and the '70 is what I wanted from the start.

Ha, I don't think I have a single pic that isn't in a box somewhere.
But it looked like this with hardtop and BBS spiderweb wheels, color matched insets and machined aluminum outer lip. Hard to believe, think I spent $1000 just on paint back in like 1990. PPG deltron metallic has never been cheap!
Growing up in the rust belt of Chicago, this was the best rust free southern car I could afford on a high school mechanic's wage and rust free cars were like hens teeth back then. No interwebs and Craigslist to find stuff that wasn't local.

Think it had 2.50 or 2.73 gears, so it'd do about a buck 30 at full throttle!

Believe it or not, you can still buy pickups with manual TC shifters. Not sure about the lack of ABS, though ABS is disabled in 4lo or with descent control on.

Lets see that 70!

They are highway flyers for sure. 2.73 in the '69 and 2.56 in my '70.

I don't have many pictures, it's been parked in the barn for the last several years. It's probably been 10 years since it was driven more than a few miles.

For sure. Have a bunch of 2017/2018 chevy work trucks in the fleet with manual shifters, but no ABS hasn't been optional for a long time.
Don't mind abs now and actually use it to drive in the snow. But back in the day ABS was a death sentence on gravel or snow in an Oh Sht moment...

No worries about that. With fresh tires and some gas, it'll be ready to go. I'm delaying it's restoration until someone produces quarter panels that are actually worth a damn. The big goal is to build an SS as if Chevrolet still made them in '70. Should be pretty easy with '69 parts.

Ehhh, I'm too partial to the '70 front clip, rear bumper and curved rear window (69 was flat wasn't it?). I had to do alot of work to the rear quarters, one side mostly. Backed into a tree with it before the resto and it buckled that quarter in like 3 spots. Damn rear bumper is mounted to the rear quarters, so any little love tap crunches the sheetmetal.

The '70 clip is staying for sure. I just meant '69 parts as far as emblems. Do a factory type blackout treatment on the grille, F41 suspension, 12 bolt rear, stock appearing big block, bucket seats, console, etc. I've already installed the buckets and console from a '69.

'69 and '70 were available as sport coupe and custom coupe. Custom coupe is the concave rear glass, which is awesome by the way. The sport coupe was a semi-fastback, but not nearly as swoopy as the '65-'68 fastback.
