Period correct wheels for 86 K10 Stepside?

Yeah, the more I think about it the more I think I'll leave the stance alone. It doesn't ride great currently, but I'm hoping that's because of the pictures below (front bushings issue) and maybe the mudders?

Should I see a noticeable improvement in the ride switching from M/T to A/T (assuming same size, 33"). Or will it just be a reduction in noise?
How much air is in the tires?

I will respectfully disagree with @TotalyHucked , the spring quality will make a much bigger impact on ride quality than tires. An "E" load tire will ride MUCH better with a quality spring than a lighter load tire used with a stiff spring.

Which BTW, it looks like the front springs might be Rough Country. They tend to be very stiff.

Which BTW, it looks like the front springs might be Rough Country. They tend to be very stiff.
I’ll probably bring it to an off-road shop near me who does a lot of lifts and see what they can tell by looking at it. Maybe they can suggest something softer if I keep the height. I will look at the shocks and see if there’s any branding too.

That I would agree with, I was just saying when considering tires alone that's the general rule. I definitely agree that springs make the biggest ride difference, I'm just not versed in 4wd squares enough to provide any recommendations or anything

Tuff Country and BDS both ride well, with Superlift and Skyjacker in the "good" category as well.

Rancho, Rough Country, and Pro Comp are downright rough.

There's other less common brands out there too, but I have no experience with them. If you have a healthy budget, you can get custom springs tuned specifically to your application.

As far as rear springs, I personally prefer the factory springs used with a quality lift block or a shackle flip.

Typically marked with paint or decals, but they are only meant as temporary identification before the installation. The identification often wears off within a few years.
