That's because the solvent is in the tub and any less the pump won't be submerged, I have the solvent in the bucket underneath(Safety-Clean style) and all the crud goes to the bottom bucket instead of in the tub so my tub stays clean.

I use two buckets, the drain goes through the top one into the bottom one, I put a bunch of small holes on the bottom of the top one so the solvent comes up in the top one, I put the pump in the top one that keeps the pump in clean solvent and the pump can't suck up the crud of the bottom, use a white or clear bucket on the bottom so you can see the crud buildup and clean it out before it gets too full... Actually I got the idea from this guy that modified his China Freight unit..

Thanks that's the plan but I should be out there working on it and not here, LOL Raining here and my 59yr young bones don't like that .
