Looks good.

I just repainted my 85. Talk about self control not to go down rabbit holes- that's no joke.

Using SPI Epoxy primer. Sprayed the door jams, under the hood, pretty much everything that needed it before I paint the rest. Box was already done by me earlier. Anybody that wants to do this it's a lot of work!!! Good Luck.
No kidding! Try a square body Suburban 4x4 BY YOURSELF!! Took me two years to complete.

I'm building the truck as not just a truck but a tribute to all the people that lost their lives on Sept 11th 2001. The stickers on the back are the 343 Fire Fighters that died that day. Never forget!!

Looks good. I get what you wanted to do and kudos for staying out of the rabbit hole.
I was just reading another thread elsewhere about a similar topic. The guy had a plain jane work truck and wanted to know what it cost to do a decent enamel single stage paint job. Every post was someone telling him it would cost 10k, 14k, 18k, etc. Geeze, the guy just wanted to put a little shine on his daily driver.
I just painted a 1974 C10 the original Grecian Bronze with a clear coat. Materials ran me about $700 plus my labor.

Jack, It was an Honor to carry one of the 343 American Flags during the Memorial for the FDNY Firefighters in 2001. Over 8 thousand Active firefighters applied but of course they could only pick 343 to lead the Precession.
Myself and a good friend were picked from Detroit (DFD), a day to always remember. An event to NEVER FORGET
