Paint code match

Hey guys, my dad went to the paint store yesterday to buy some paint for my truck and they said their info didn't go back that far. Anybody know how to get paint mixing info?

It is an 86 GMC, color is 61 Doeskin Tan.

I also realize I've got to get my build thread started before the truck is complete.

I have that same color in a spray can, and its a perfect match. They do larger orders for entire paint jobs too.
also, they are up to date on any paint code changes.

Go to a different store. I was able to get touch up paint made there on the spot at my paint store.
