Good Afternoon All,

Well somehow I was able to install a complete 27 circuit painless wiring kit, but I can’t figure out this Dakota Digital fan sensor (PAC 2800BT)

I have the module wired in the truck behind the dash, but am stuck on the relay.

The question is, where do I get the “fuse panel constant 12+ Volt” for the fan relay? I currently have the White wire in the attached diagram as Painless #901 Relay Activation/ACC Power(IGN), Green to the battery(with fuse) and the black to the fan.

Does anyone know where I can / what should I use for the constant power to the relay?

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

That makes sense, thank you.

I will be back with the truck tomorrow, but in the meantime I am struggling to find any information on how to then run a wire to the inside of the truck, then to the front of the truck. I have read and re-read that accessory port page on the painless manual multiple times and can’t picture where the wire will actually be installed/clicked into the fuse block.

Page 12 shows the terminal and connector included in the painless kit.
You would crimp that terminal to the orange wire on the Dakota fan controller and plug into port 2 on the painless fuse block that would provide the constant 12 volts to your Dakota fan controller.
That terminal 2 on the fuse block already has power in it, that is provided from the main wire from battery to fuse block.
