I doubt that switch has gotten much use considering that nobody has listened to am radio since about 1982.

I kinda like the idea of a baseball game playing in the background on a nice summer day.I suppose it gets the job done if you want more options for sports, talk/news radio, or low fidelity Hispanic music.

Windshield antennea is lacking in picking up stations for sure!Check your antenna connection also. The older radios will probably play fm but not pick up am at all if the antenna is not connected or the little wire in the windshield is broken although it shouldn't very well. I don't like the windshield antenna at all as it seems like the function is diminished.
