Ive heard the whining, and SCREAMING from my rear with no oil... it got SUPER hot but not to that extreme lol. Btw i never got a warning light.

Well Ted, I don't recommend this, but when driving with the SCREAMING with no oil, you must continue to drive, preferably at extreme speed, and you will get this elusive warning light

Honestly i ran it down the interstate for.... an hour? With the noise till it became apparent over the radio, both side windows, rear slider and left wing window open that the screaming was SERIOUS! I pulled off the next exit into the gas station and rolled underneith. The rear was smoking and i couldnt touch it! Pulled the fill plug and put 2 quarts of oil in it, took it up the street and it still screamed so i called AAA.
