I've been hoping to come across some ZR2's so I could peak at the brakes, but no such luck. My buddy had an '01 and an '00, both had drums from what I remember.

I did see one of those later crew cabs with the really short bed yesterday and it had the ZR5 appearance package with the thin spoked wheels that made it easy to see the brakes. It had disc brakes. It was probably the 7.5" rear axle though, but nevertheless, it was a pickup with disc brakes.
