My Denali handles showed up today. Dropped them off to my painter and he said they'd be done tomorrow so I should be able to get them installed this weekend.

What is special about the Denali handles? Are they just smooth, not textured?

Smooth so easier to paint since you don't have to smooth them. All the handles on the GMT400 Denalis are colormatched

Here are some crappy pics after the handle install this morning. I think they turned out really nice! Next up will be spray in bed liner and then some polished GMT900 Yukon 20s

That looks really good!

Thought you were doing machined 20's?!

How are you liking those tires?

Thanks! I'm really pleased with how they came out :)

I keep waffling back and forth between machined and polished :banghead: so today I said polished so that I didn't have to type out polished or machined

I LOVE the tires. They seem to be wearing well and perform well in wet weather. I'll test snow this winter I'm sure. We had a small amt of snow this last week and they did fine, though. I'll probably get the same tires when I get the new wheels

The big tire around here for winter the last several years has been the Hankook ATM's. But your Terra Grapplers seem to have a LOT more variety as far as sizes go. Not that I have truck that needs tires, yet...

Do the newest GM trucks share the 6x5.5 bolt pattern? Some of the new styles would look really sweet on your truck! Or is that what you are thinking? I have lost track of the truck generations recently...

Yeah they all share the same bolt pattern and that's what I'm thinking. Let me grab a pic of what I'm thinking about going with

EDIT: here they are. I can get these in machined or polished. These came on the gmt900 Yukon

What: BedRug bed liner
From: truckmods.com
On: 1998 Chevy K1500 extended cab short bed

Ease of install: 1/10 (1=the easiest)
Quality of Material: 9/10
Fit and finish: 9/10
Time needed for install: 1 hour or less

I was asked to give a quick write up of this so here it is.

The install was super easy with no tools needed. The liner comes in two pieces. One piece for the sides and front wall and another piece for the floor and tailgate. These two pieces zip together. Before you put anything in the bed you'll need to clean it real good. The liner stays in place via Velcro strips provided in the kit. That Velcro then adheres to the bed so it needs a nice clean surface.

The fit and finish is pretty good. There are some spots along the wheel wells that's not as snug as I'd like but I'm thinking that as the sun hits it it'll form around the wheel wells better. The quality of the material also seems to be pretty good and definitely looks nice right now.

This is my first BedRug so I'll be interested to see how it does with holding up to snow, ice and rain as well as when I use the bed as a truck bed is to be used. I am generally very easy on my trucks but there are times when I use them to haul mulch or lumber or something.

Here are some pics to show how easy the process is. It took me roughly an hour but I was taking my time and also dealing with my 8 year old at the same time lol
