Yeah I'm tossing around the white/tan front. I've priced out paintable front and rear bumpers. I'm thinking about keeping the molding though if I do it. What do you think? @Green79Scottsdale

Actually, I think that is a fantastic idea! With this current trend of completely de-badgeing the entire vehicle, keeping your molding would be different and give it that stock yet modified look. In keeping the molding, I would paint the chrome strip on it black. I remember seeing someone do that on FSC, he did it to his red OBS, can't remember his name though. Having just a couple strips of chrome may be out of place. Of course, you can save that for last to see exactly how it looks. I can see it in my head, it looks good! I wish I could make money off my visions/ideas/dreams of other people's cars! I can't draw worth a crap to put it on paper for them, and I don't have the experience to execute it for them either. Oh well!

edit: The tires you have coming are gonna look good on it! Couple of guys have them at work. One on a stock '04 Silverado, and one in 37's on his Duramini (inside joke).

My thoughts exactly in the molding! :) we will see how it looks. Not sure when it'll all happen but hopefully sooner than later :)

I'm stoked for the tires! They should arrive Tuesday according to UPS. I'm hoping to get them put on Wednesday or Thursday because we have a busy weekend ahead of us with the 4th of July!

Volant installed. The quality of the product is very nice but there could be a LOT of improvements made to make it much easier on the customer when installing it. They make it much harder than it needs to be

From what I remember there were some of the earlier lower trim level trucks, Scottsdale maybe, that came with all black moldings and black wheel arch trim. I liked that look. My '91 S-10 uses the same side mouldings, I blacked out the chrome strip on it. I didn't even paint it, I just used name brand electrical tape and it's been years and still holding up fine.

You realize suede is a heavy material, you'll need some strong adhesive for it.

Suede??? Is that some Gas Monkey Garage ********? Are you going to do the seats in cow hide???

GMG did that to a damn late 50's Pontiac Bonny for the Aussies and it looked like **** IMO. (cow hide seats, not the suede.)
