Hey group,
I have a couple of old wheel bearing grease cans.
These were my dad's and are between 50 and 60 years old.
I remember him using them on the trailer wheels.
In my clearing out of "stuff" I ran across them.
The grease has been mostly cleaned out. I have not completely cleaned up the cans. The Valvoline can does have a dent. QS does not have any dents. (surprise)

Are these worth anything?

Does anyone have any interest in them?

I have a pretty big collection of quart oil cans, all sealed and all metal. The oldest is a glass bottle from the 20's, that one is empty. Yeah, your cans have some value to those who collect them.

I do not actively seek them out, but if I come across one for small money, say $1-$2 or less I'll probably grab it to put on a display shelf.

On a side note, since John mentioned spun paper/cardboard cans, my coworker worked for a company in the 80s that had developed and built tooling for and all related parts to make spun composite cans with a screw on lid, just for the oil companies (or packaging and distributors) to not be interested and go to plastic bottles we now use.
