Even if they just set in your yard, they’re still fun to look at.

78, you’d be surprised what you can resurrect. I’ve seen some clapped 4cyl gas tractors come to life.

I shoveled sand out of the cylinders on mine with a tablespoon.

Replaced one piston and cylinder sleeve, added new rod & main bearings and fired it up!

Here are a few examples. The one arm one is interesting. I wonder why it didn’t catch on?!

Because it didn't work. Bent metal was the theme of the day with that setup. Loader on agriculture tractors are fragile enough as is.

Lol, that was sarcasm

In reality, I wonder why they tried it...

Based on that experience, I also had a '74 Cub Loboy. Had a terrible time with the driveline: multiple broken shift forks, broken shifter, broken flywheel/clutch plate, broken drive pins.

It would break something at the worst possible time, the farthest distance from the garage, in the deepest snow, and I would have to somehow drag it around back to fix it. Those drive pins were in the worst possible location making the simple act of replacing a cap screw and putting a nut on it the worst possible affair.

Probably the worst purchase I ever made.

My wife MADE ME sell it and replace it with a new Cub Cadet garden tractor.

Well dang. I've always wanted a 154 to play with, preferably one with a rear 3-point. I've never known anyone that had one, so that's kind of a bummer to hear your story.

That’s way cool! You don’t see them with the backhoe and blade attachments often.

I’d be really interested in trying to make it run.

Yeah it would be difficult to just let it sit there and rot. It had a life, a purpose, before it got to where it is. Now it waits for a loving soul to revive it and put it to use.

That cub has quite a few decades on it.

Hopefully next year I buy a house with a little more property, and when I do, I would like to try and find an old Lamborghini tractor or mini-dozer. I've always liked the Blue/Orange color combo.

I have a couple of Ford 9N's, they are pretty handy for leveling dirt and moving snow. Also have a couple of Cub Cadets that I would like to restore some day. They are built like tanks and put a modern lawn tractor to shame.

You have a pictures? I like seeing old tractors that still have implements.
