Old man constantly asked to drop his truck.Any stock height C10s left in the world??

I am 67 and my shop truck is an old friend of 13 years that has also been retired after carting motorcycles and parts around for all those years.
I am in Australia so C10s are not that common but everywhere I go these days I get told "Nice truck" but you need to get it dropped ASAP!
I have been thinking for years a 3/4 drop would be ok but how to do it so it still steers and rides smooth like it does now.
Our roads are more like goat tracks than US roads?

I think it looks really goofy to drop a relatively stock truck. It does not improve the look, and serves no purpose. YMMV

Over here there are very few trucks like yours that have not been lowered. When these trucks were new only a few of them were lowered so they looked Different and Cool. Now that all of them are lowered they are commonplace and boring to me. It's a rare and happy thing when I see one at original, stock height.

I hink that truck looks just perfect as it is - rare to see an unmolested one these days.

The answer is it won't ride like it does now. From a guy with many miles in a daily lowered truck you find out stuff like that goat trail with ruts, you'll need to drive with one side on the middle hump. High manhole cover on a paved road, you need to put wheels on the cover. the list goes on.

@Redfish I lowered my 1982 in the mid 1980's. Yes one of the few lowered late model trucks on the east coast. Yes people stared and were wowed.

95% of the pickups here are also lowered. I thought a 3/4 drop would look ok but leaving it stock is starting to have some appeal.
It's not like the people commenting are young bucks but mostly old dudes my age saying get that thing down. Maybe I should be a rebel at my age and just leave it stock.

Thats the biggest worry (ride quality) as although this thing is well cared for it gets used on dirt roads and will still be used as a bike carrier. One of my closest friends has a remote property totally off the grid that will be a no go for the truck if I drop it.

I’m about as old as you can get while still being a millennial. Born in 84 (40 years old). I wouldn’t touch it. It looks great! It’s a perfect height to slide in and out of.

Interesting you should say that as at 6 2 getting in and out of my little *** car run about is getting harder. The truck is dead easy.

Id lower the front just a little to give it a Calif Rake look.

My '69 1/2ton cst/395 shortbed had 1 1/2" lower blocks on the back factory swing arm coil spring supension, and cut coils up front front, but front was real mushy so I put some cut 3/4 ton springs on the front for same front ride height to give it a firmer ride cornering
