Oil pan off, anything I should do while I’m under there?

Never mind. I found the answer to my dumb question in another thread. Now, I just need to find the thread about replacing the rear main seal without pulling the engine. :)

Probably a dumb question, but can the oil pan be removed without pulling, or at least raising the engine?
Yes, at least on my model. It’s a 3/4 ton 2wd with a 350 engine. I’m not sure about other models or engines

Is it a one or two piece rear main seal?

It’s a 74 C10, original base model 350, so most likely 2-piece. I’ve found some videos showing how it can be done with the crank in the engine. I just hope I don’t have to do that.
Yeah most likely a two piece. I believe the one piece started in ‘86. It’s very simple to do and shouldn’t take much time.
