I am looking for an OEM grille for a 1978 GMC Sierra Classic. Does anyone know where I can source one? Thanks, Bill

Only one that has something close to an OEM style is Brothers, IIRC.

Original GM OEM? Ebay.....and be prepared to go $750+

I bought one for my 86 gmc classic from LMC. 75.00. I was able to use original GMC lettering, rattle caned it.
I understand wanting oem though.
They give 10% discount for call in orders. Basically covers tax.
I'm happy with the way it looks.

Dug out a catalog and Doppleganger is correct. LMC doesn't have it for a 78 gmc

GMC grilles are hard to find. Dont throw your old one away. Glue it back together and paint it. Getting creative and fixing it, might be a better option.

Good luck to you in the search! Took me forever it seems to find my 76 GMC grill and ended up buying the whole damned truck for parts just to get it.

Mine is only missing 3-4 fins. I'm thinking of just finding an old donor grill and gorilla glueing some fins from that onto mine, then just painting the whole thing black.

I used some "filler" mesh and a few screws, sheetmetal brackets and super glue. Oh yeah and a can of black spray paint and roll of masking tape.

Nobody has an 83-84 GMC grille either. These are hard to find. I'm praying mine to break off. Only have 2 screws holding it othis was supposed to say I pray it DOESN'T break off. Guess I should have proof read my answer. Oooops
