OEM dually wheels

After buying some new tires, I found out my rims are all bent some worse than others. 1979 Chevy k30 dually has the factory style one piece rims 16x6 8x6.5 lug pattern with 4.56” center hole. They have the retainer ring and matching lug nuts. I have two other dually k30s with the same factory wheels n retainer rings, and lug nuts. I could play musical chairs with the 20 dually wheels untill I found the best 6 but that seems like a lot of work. Thinking might be time to buy some new dually wheels. The only aftermarket 16” wheels I like are the Alcoa’s but they’re expensive. Went by my local discount tire but they couldn’t find any reasonable oem style wheels. Found these searching online

Im pretty sure those wheels are the same as I have now. Do you think there’s a difference in quality in the $85 vs $125 wheels? Maybe I should spend the extra and get the Alcoa’s.

I have the same issue and the guy at the tire store told me they have to send about 40% of the new ones back because they don’t run true.

How many are you looking for? They have sets on amazon for a decent price but I have no idea what brand or quality they are.

Maybe it’s worth it to by the stronger/lighter Alcoa’s. Not sure how many. I need at least 2 to get the front rollin smooth. I was thinking either get six oem style n be done or get two oem, put them on the front and later on can get the Alcoa’s n use the two newer oem wheels as inner rears. Do you have a link to the correct wheels on amazon?

Don't know if these are cast, but I would assume so. ION Alloy 167. Hub holes are 5.125" (No retainer needed). 3200 LBS load rating. About $165.

I like those ion 167 wheels, they’re similar to the Alcoa style. Discount tire carries them at $157. I definitely like the price and load rating. It’s a work truck that sees snow, mud n off-road so I’d rather beat up cheaper wheels instead of aluminum Alcoa’s. So I buy two fronts n two rears and just run my best two OE wheels as inner rears ?

Accuride, what I see....

Accuride is very big manufacture. They make most of the current OEM wheels for medium duty trucks. International, Ford, Freightliner all are equipped with Accuride wheels.

Paint work seems to hold up well on the company trucks, considering the trucks don't get washed much and we are in the salt belt.

I brought the bend rims of my c20 to a machine shop and they made them round and straight as fresh from the factory. 25$ per wheel.

Accuride are the most expensive oem style wheels. Guess you get what you pay for. the wheels on the 79’ have seen better days. But the wheels on the 84’ and 89’ are much nicer and would probably be worth straightening and painting. I’ll have to think about my options some more. New wheels doesn’t seem like a bad investment considering all the money n miles Ive put into the truck

I ordered two new wheels from Accuride for the front. Not sure the direction I want to go but that’ll help things roll smooth for now. The sales lady called and said they offer a 4.56” or a 4.60” center diameter. I’m pretty sure 4.56” is correct but thought I’d see what you guys say. Thanks

Got the new wheels on but haven’t driven anywhere yet. I’m pretty sure this truck will end up going single wheel in the future. The good dually wheels n tires will go on one of my other dually k30s

What front springs do you have in your truck? My Tuff Country 3" HD's appear to pull the front shackle forward of vertical like yours.
