Odd door panels

I picked up a set of door panels the other day mainly because I’d never seem any others like them. They have bulky speakers from the factory. I cannot find anything similar on google images or LMC. Just curious if anyone has seen these or knew anything about them.

Are you sure those aren’t the 1980 only door speakers?

Those are 1980 optional door speakers. The panels themselves are for a Scottsdale trimmed pickup.

Confirmed. Had a 80 Blazer with those factory (busted) speakers.
Never knew if it was 1 year only option but you dont see them very often at all.

Bucket beat me to it, but yup, that's the ones.

Surprised that it was an option on other trims, but it appears that it was, based on the stereo radio, IIRC.
