I can tell you it was still in 78 because mine is optioned with inner hood release. An rpo code for it too

The early GMC grilles were cooler too. I prefer the set-in look.

I love that 73 chevy inset grille. I rather the chevy over gmc bc i like that the whole thing is inset.
