Picked up a stock 87 Silverado a few months back with the color combo I always wanted. Had a vin inspection and appears to be original all numbers matching, great rust free body and really clean interior. Only downside is I had to dump my 90 454ss, sad indeed. Plan on doing a Ridetech system which leads me to my first question here.. where is the bed ground at on a 87 or similar? I think its on the rear pass side but I don't see mine. Inside/outside frame rail? This bed has been off before so maybe its missing. If anybody has a pic of one I would appreciate Thanks!

Welcome and nice truck. I also have an 87 R10 SWB with 5.7 (a survivor).
Probably the biggest issues with these trucks are the 700r4, mine has been rebuilt, and the TBI system as this was the first year for both options.
