I came across this console in my garage today, forgot I even had it. I think it was from an early Explorer. It has cup holders, a coin holder doohickey, and a big storage bin under the padded armrest. It's in great condition, except for a worn spot on the armrest. I'm sure it would be easy to adapt for use in about any pickup with bucket seats. $30 plus shipping and you can own it

The plastic could be dyed any color very easily, but the armrest could probably only be dyed black. Recovering it would be the only other long-term option.

Sorry, it's long gone. The original post was from back in '11. The thread just got a recent spike in activity, lol.

Sometimes you gotta just spell it out for people, then again some guys just want to be able to prop that right arm up as high as the left would be when they hang it out the window and drive with their beer belly locked into the steering wheel, so maybe the height would be appropriate based on the appropriate level of redneck.....

For the sake of curiousity, when you did have it in, how was the elbow height for bucket seats? Just keeping options open in the future for my K5

I never actually used it. Iirc, I had got it to use in my S10, but ended up finding a factory tall console with a good lid.
