Says they had it listed in November 2024 and didn't sell it. Let it bid up to $25k and that wasn't enough, but now listed with no reserve? Odd choice... we'll see what it sells for. Beautiful truck in amazing condition

Oh yeah, that's Max's truck. Forum guy from the NBS forum days, I've followed the whole revival of this truck. Super nice one, not surprised he was holding out for more than 25k. Shocked it's at no reserve now

Yeah, He's had a few really nice squares that were built by hot rod ranch down in Texas. I remember him from the old forum days, too. He always had sick trucks!

The last one sold for $22.5k according to the listing.

Surprising given the damage to the tailgate and the claim of factory parts that ended up being aftermarket.

My amazement at bring a trailer will never cease.

That is a neat truck, but definitely some less than truthful claims there. 100% has been repainted at some point.

Some nice brush touch up work there

Now I totally understand that the buyer of this, or similar is 100% not someone like me, or others here, and that none of the things pointed out matter at all to them. Nor will it to the next buyer.

Nothing against the truck, or the buyer, more so at the sellers for putting out bad or untrue information.

And for someone who is paying what I'd consider top dollar I'm surprised that the truck wouldn't be more highly scrutinized. I nitpick a truck a LOT higher when I'm paying top dollar for it than when I'm getting a deal but maybe others don't do the same or maybe what they consider "top dollar" is subjective.

The last one is extra funny, the guy says 14k original miles but it's been completely framed off restored.
It says 14k miles shown. No telling how many times the odometer has rolled over. Or maybe they reset the odometer, or put a new one in when it was restored.

From the seller -

> It truly is my hobby and I get especially excited about low mileage original vehicles like this truck. The condition is simply amazing and is what you’d expect for a truck with just 14,000 miles

At the point a vehicle has been "restored" or even significantly messed with then the original mileage no longer even matters IMO At that point, it's time to look it over real close to make sure what's been messed with and the full package of the vehicle is worth the price it's being listed for.
