Hello to all. I have a 1986 K10 that I recently picked up off Facebook marketplace. I had a 1989 R3500 from 2010 to 2015. Loved that truck! Unfortunately I had no room to work on it in town, and when we sold the house, I had to get rid of it because it was in the way.
Now that my daughter is turning 16, and I will need a truck for myself. I capitalized and bought my K10. Turns out this truck spent most of its life here in Indiana. One short stint in Tennessee, and I brought her back home.
I will be using it as a truck. At the same time, I will also be fixing some things and making it mine. Just ordered a custom leather seat cover from a friend. It will be in the same color gray as the body of the truck, and have Marine Corps logos laser engraved in it.
I also have several parts that I am changing currently. Normal tuneup, new door lock cylinders, new shift indicator, and more.
